Donetsk, Nov 2 – DAN. DPR service members have obtained new Ukrainian improvised rounds made of fire extinguishers, said DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin.

“We have obtained Ukrainian ‘state of art technologies’. This wonder weapon cannot cause serious damage to our positions; that is why we suppose it is meant to attack residential areas.”

The IED is made of fire extinguisher shell filled with explosives and shrapnel, equipped with contact fuse and solid propellant rocket motor for RPG.

Basurin said ISIS members in Syria and Iraq used similar improvised rounds. *ot
