Donetsk, Dec 11 – DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia is ready to counter the Ukrainian forces’ offensive in southern Donbass, DPR Head Denis Pushilin told reporters on Tuesday.

“Out intelligence has been sending disturbing reports about Ukraine’s preparations for a full-scale offensive,” Pushilin said. “Kiev is preparing to resume hostilities on the Mariupol axis.”

“DPR forces are ready to confront the enemy and defend our land; Ukrainian provocations will only cause senseless casualties among the military and civilians,” he said.

On Monday, DPR People’s Militia deputy commander Eduard Basurin unveiled Ukrainian forces’ plans to launch an offensive on the Mariupol axis with a 12,000-strong force on December 14.*jk
