Donetsk, Mar 3 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 26 times over the past 24 hours, the largest number since autumn 2019, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, the enemy opened fire at DPR residential areas 26 times expending 30 122mm artillery rounds, 25 120mm mortar rounds and 34 82mm mortar rounds,” Yakubov said.

Ukraine last violated the truce 26 times in October 2019, and its last use of 122mm cannon artillery was recorded on December 17, 2019, he said.

Despite the Ukrainian army provocations, the DPR controls the situation on the contact line, Yakubov said.*jk
