JCCC: Kiev forces violate ceasefire nine times, fire over 100 shells

Donetsk, Apr 24 – DAN. The Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire nine times in 24 hours firing almost 100 rounds at the Donetsk People’s Republic, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.

“Over the past 24 hours the enemy violated the ceasefire nine times firing 99 shells,” Yakubov said.

Shakhta Trudovskaya, Spartak, Vasilyevka, Mineralnoye were targeted with 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms of large caliber.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire seven times, firing 40 rounds.

The rounds under 12.7 mm caliber are excluded from daily reports.

A new recommitment to the ceasefire in Donbass has come into force on Friday, 1.01 a.m. GMT +3, after the security working group of the Contact Group had agreed to it on the previous day. At 1.05 a.m. Kiev forces opened 120 mm mortar fire on Alexandrovka, western Donetsk. *ot
