Donetsk, May 18 – DAN. Ukrainian army units expended almost 900 rounds targeting DPR territory in the past 24 hours, violating the ceasefire 39 times, said DPR representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov.
“Ukrainian armed forces fired 895 rounds, the number of violations recorded is 39,” he said.
He said the enemy targeted Gorlovka, Donetsk and Mariupol axes, using artillery, 82mm and 120mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, machine guns, armored vehicles and small arms.
Seven households and a gas pipe have been damaged in Gorlovka and on its outskirts. Two houses have incurred damage in Kominternovo, according to the head of Novoazovsk district administration Anatoly Yanovskiy.
Earlier the enemy damaged water treatment facilities in Golmovskiy, north of Gorlovka and a public school No.10.
The security situation in Donbass has deteriorated recently. Gorlovka remains one of the hotspots on the contact line. *ot*pp
