Kiev forces violate ceasefire 26 times over 24 hours, use 122mm howitzers – JCCC

Donetsk, Mar 3 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 26 times over the past 24 hours firing 126 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory,  the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 26 times expending 126 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered at the areas of the Zhabichevo, Trudovskaya Colliery, Alexandrovka and Staromikhailovka settlements, the Volvo Centre, the outskirts of the Spartak and Mikhailovka villages and Yasinovataya on the Donetsk axis, the Dolomitnoye, South Zaitsevo, Shirokaya Balka, Gagarin Colliery and Ozeryanovka settlements on the Gorlovka axis, and the Sakhanka and Krasny Oktyabr villages on the Mariupol axis, the JCCC said.

The enemy used 122mm howitzers, 82mm and 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 15 times on the contact line in Donbass.*jk
