Kiev forces violate ceasefire six times over 24 hours

Donetsk, Jan 15 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire six times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“Over the past 24 hours, the number of registered violations was six, the number of rounds fired – 72”. Staromikhailovka, Leninskoye and Kominternovo came under IFV, APC, 120 mm mortars and grenade launcher fire.

Explosions were reported on Ukrainian positions in Maryinka, Vodyanoye and Avdeyevka as engineer works were carried out there.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
