Number of Ukrainian army strikes at DPR decreases over 24 hours – JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 4 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 15 times over the past 24 hours firing 39 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic areas, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Monday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 15 times expending 39 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Donetsk’s Volvo Centre and the Trudovskaya Colliery settlement, Yasinovataya and its Krutaya Balka neighbourhood, Gorlovka and the adjacent Golmovskiy, Zaitsevo and Gagarin Colliery townships and the Leninskoye, Sakhanka and Naberezhnoye villages in southern DPR came under fire, he added.

The enemy employed 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 17 times firing 180 rounds at the DPR.*jk
