Ukrainian army violates ceasefire 26 times over 24 hours – DPR Operations Command

Donetsk, Sep 11 – DAN. Ukrainian forces fired 50 artillery and mortar rounds at DPR frontline areas over the past 24 hours, DPR Operations Command deputy commander Eduard Basurin said on Monday.

“On Donetsk axis, the enemy used mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, armored personnel carriers guns and small arms. Kiev forces fired 38 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds at nine adjacent areas on the axis,” Basurin said.

In the DPR south, Sakhanka, Leninskoye ans Kominternovo came under fire, as four 82mm caliber rounds hit the area, as well as infantry fighting vehicle cannons rounds.

On Gorlovka axis, Kiev forces used mortars and infantry fighting vehicle cannons. Zaitsevo and Dolomitnoye were hit with nine mortar rounds.

Overall, Kiev forces violated the ceasefire over 30 times during the previous day firing at 15 townships.
The ‘school ceasefire’ has been agreed to by the sides as the new academic year is to begin in Donbass on September 1. It came into force at midnight August 25. It hasn’t proved to be durable, thought in the first hours the security situation along the contact line stabilized. *ot
