Ukrainian forces fire at DPR three times over 24 hours, use mortars – JCCC ​

Donetsk, Nov 26 – DAN. Ukrainian army units opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory three times over the past 24 hours, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Thursday.

“Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire three times over the past 24 hours,” the report said.

The Spartak and Leninskoye villages on the Donetsk and Mariupol axes came under fire. The enemy used 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers (AGS) and small arms, expending 26 rounds of ammunition of calibre 12.7 or higher, the JCCC said.

The JCCC also reported engineer works at Ukrainian army positions in the Peski settlement area outside Donetsk in violation of the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire in Donbass which have been in effect in the region since July 27, 2020.

In the previous reporting period, two ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces were recorded.*jk
