Donetsk, Oct 31 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 31 times over the past 24 hours firing more than 170 rounds of ammunition at DPR frontline areas, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 31 times expending 171 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
Strikes were delivered at Trudovskaya Colliery, the Donetsk airport, Zhabichevo, Staromikhailovka, Spartak, Mineralnoye and Krutaya Balka (Donetsk axis), Gagarin Colliery, Mikhailovka and Zaitsevo (Gorlovka axis) and Leninskoye, Belaya Kamenka, Kulikovo, Petrovskoye, Zaichenko and Sakhanka (Mariupol axis), the JCCC said.
The enemy used 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces fired more than 120 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
