Ukrainian forces shell DPR since 3 a.m. on International Women’s Day – JCCC

Donetsk, Mar 8 – DAN. Ukrainian army fired nearly 50 rounds at the DPR on the International Women’s Day, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

The fire was opened at 3.05 a.m. and 5.50 a.m. from the direction of Vodyanoye and Shirokino targeting Leninskoye and Sakhanka in the DPR south.

 At 8.05 a.m. Kiev forces engaged Staromikhailovka in western Donetsk; 10 rounds of a BMP-2 were fired, as well as 20 grenade launcher rounds.

As a result, seven residential houses and a PTL have been damaged in Staromikhailovka.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
