Ukrainian forces violate ceasefire 17 times over 24 hours, fire 128 rounds at DPR – JCCC

Donetsk, Dec 27 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 17 times over the past 24 hours firing 128 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 17 times expending 128 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Ukrainian forces targeted Gorlovka with the Zaitsevo and Gagarin Colliery neighbourhoods, Yasinovataya and its adjacent settlement of Krutaya Balka, the Donetsk airport area and the Spartak village in the north of the city and the Leninskoye, Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR.

The enemy employed 82mm and 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and large calibre small arms.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 18 times firing 115 rounds of ammunition at DPR areas.*jk
