Ukrainian forces violate ceasefire 19 times over 24 hours, fire 150 rounds at DPR – JCCC

Donetsk, Nov 29 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 19 times over the past 24 hours firing 150 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 19 times expending 150 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Following are the DPR areas that came under fire: Gorlovka and the Gagarin Colliery, Dolomitnoye and Zaitsevo settlements, Yasinovataya and its Krutaya Balka and Vasilyevka neighbourhoods, the Donetsk airport area, the Trudovskaya Colliery and Spartak neighbourhoods in suburban Donetsk and the Kominternovo, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

On Wednesday, the DPR People’s Militia reported tensions on the Donbass contact line stating that it controlled the situation.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 21 times firing nearly 100 rounds at the DPR.*jk
