Donetsk, Oct 17 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 24 times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Thursday.
“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire 24 times expending 291 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.
Strikes were delivered at the Volvo Centre, the Trudovskaya Colliery, Alexandrovka, Staromikhailovka and Spartak neighbourhoods in the outskirts and suburbs of Donetsk, the Mineralnoye village outside Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, the Yasnoye settlement near Dokuchayevsk and the Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, the JCCC said.
The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. Over all, 13 houses were damaged in Staromikhailovka and Yasnoye in the designated period. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.
In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 40 times firing 487 rounds if ammunition at the DPR territory.*jk
