Ukrainian forces violate ceasefire eight times over 24 hours, shell seven DPR settlements – JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 11 – DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire eight times over the past 24 hours, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian armed formations violated the ceasefire eight times expending 22 rounds of ammunition,” the report said.

Strikes were delivered a the areas of the Shirokaya Balka and Gagarin Colliery settlements and the Mikhailovka village on the Gorlovka axis, the Volvo Centre and the Staromikhailovka and Alexandrovka settlements on the Donetsk axis and the Sakhanka village on the Mariupol axis, the JCCC said.

The enemy used 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and high calibre small arms. The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian forces fired more than 40 rounds of ammunition at the DPR territory in five ceasefire violations.*jk
