Donetsk, Sep 16 – DAN. Ukrainian army units have not opened fire at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory over the past 24 hours, however they delivered unaimed fire from positions at the contact line, the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Wednesday.

At 17:25 and 18:40 on Wednesday, Ukrainian servicemen at positions next to Maryinka and Novomikhailovka delivered single-shot small arms fire expending 25 rounds, in violation of the additional ceasefire control measures, the JCCC said.

In the previous reporting period, Ukrainian servicemen observed the ceasefire while violating the additional ceasefire control measures once.

The package of tighter ceasefire control measures came into force in Donbass on July 27, 2020. The document bans the use of any weapons, deployment of hardware, special operations, engineer works and flights of unmanned aerial vehicles, and envisions punishment of violators.*jk
