Donetsk, Jul 24 – DAN. Ukrainian military counterintelligence has detained three Ukrainian armed forces service members in Novotroitskoye as they violated the ceasefire agreement, said the head of the DPR People’s Militia command press service Daniil Bezsonov.

“The members of Ukrainian military counterintelligence arrived on July 24 to investigate and detained three violators of the ceasefire who were under influence. The examination of their position outside Novotroitskoye revealed small arms and an 82 mm mortar piece.”

Ukrainian armed formations shelled Dokuchayevsk on July 23 from Novotroitskoye, for the first time since the ceasefire came into force on July 21.

An indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass in the night of July 20-21 as it has been agreed to by the Contact Group in Minsk.

The new ceasefire agreement includes provisions for disciplinary measures against perpetrators, ban on offensive, sabotage and reconnaissance operations, ban on any fire including sniper fire, deployment of heavy weapons to populated areas and, first of all, civilian infrastructural objects such as schools, kindergartens, hospitals and public places. *ot
