Donetsk, Nov 11 – DAN. Western countries have demonstrated their anti-democratic stance by protesting against Donbass elections, said an observer from Finland Johan Bäckman.

“Ukraine and Western countries began anti-election rhetoric right after the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko was assassinated. When the West steps up against elections, it steps up against democracy.”

Bäckman said that the voice of Donbass people shall be heard after such a high turnout.

Voter turnout at the Head and Parliamentary elections has surpassed 76 percent as of 6 p.m. (UTC+3), DPR Central Election Commission chairwoman Olga Pozdnyakova told journalists.*ot
