Donetsk, May 5 – DAN. The DPR has received the official list of people whom Ukrainian authorities are looking for in Donbass, and is currently working on the document that might become a basis of a future prisoner exchange, DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova said.

“The weeks ago Ukraine sent us the list of people it is looking for in the DPR, there are 85 names on the list. This is the first official list of missing persons in the past year and a half,” she said.

The DPR is looking into the identities of listed persons.

The previous prisoner exchange in Donbass took place in April 2020. Donetsk handed over nine people to Kiev and the latter passed ten people to Donetsk. Fifty detainees have been passed to the Republic over two years, but the DPR repeatedly stated that Kiev had not dropped charges or criminal prosecution against them.*ot
