Donetsk, Oct 2 – DAN. Ukraine has not yet voiced its position regarding the ICRC-proposed mechanism to resume pension payments to Donbass residents, the Donetsk People’s Republic Foreign Ministry press service said on Tuesday.

“The Ukrainian delegation representatives have not delivered on their repeated promises to announce their position on the pension payment mechanism suggested by the International Committee of the Red Cross,” the press service said in a statement.

On April 17, 2018, ICRC representatives said that they were ready to mediate in the issue of payment of Ukrainian pensions in Donbass. The ICRC also suggested that the basic rate equal payments to mobility impaired people. Kiev’s officials at the Contact Group talks in Minsk declined to promote this process.*jk
