239 new COVID-19 cases diagnosed in DPR over 24 hours

Donetsk, May 11 – DAN. Two hundred and thirty-nine new COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, the DPR Healthcare Ministry reported on Tuesday.

“DPR medics have carried out 509 tests since Monday; 219 people tested positive and another 20 showed clinical and epidemiological signs of COVID-19,” the report said.

Ten patients have died over the designated period. Thirty-four rapid tests have shown ten reinfections which brings the number of such cases to 1,524 since March 18, 2021.

The DPR currently has 34,495 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 27,102 patients recovered, 4,810 continue treatment and 2,583 died, according to the latest reports.*jk
