Donetsk, May 9 – DAN. A military parade commemorating the 72nd anniversary of World War II Victory Day is taking place in central Donetsk on Tuesday.

The legendary Soviet WWII battle tank T-34 is leading the column of more than 50 pieces of military hardware, including artillery, anti-aircraft guns and infantry fighting vehicles.

Central Donetsk is closed to traffic due to the festivities. More than 1,000 law-enforcers are on hand to watch law and order, and ambulances and Emergencies Ministry teams are on standby in public places. *jk
