Donetsk, June 4 – DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic employment centres have provided jobs to more than 1,750 DPR residents with disabilities since 2015, the Republican Employment Centre press service told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“From 2015 to April 2019, jobs were provided to 1,755 disabled people or 45.4 percent of disabled people on file,” the press service said. “Seasonal jobs were provided to 907 disabled people (23.5 percent).”
Employers have offered more than 1,770 vacancies since the disability employment quota was introduced on June 15, 2016.
All available vacancies are offered; jobs are selected in accordance with recommendations of individual rehabilitation programmes, the Employment Centre said.
The DPR set up the Employment Centre on December 9, 2014.*jk
