Donetsk, Dec 20 – DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic parliament re-elected Darya Morozova as the Republic’s ombudswoman on Friday.
Morozova’s term in office ends in December 2019. “The DPR ombudsman is appointed and relieved of his duties by the People’s Council upon the recommendation of the head of the Republic, lawmakers or parliament groups. The DPR Head recommend to re-appoint Darya Morozova to the post,” chairman of the parliament committee for constitutional legislation and state development Maxim Knysh Knysh said as he introduced Morozova.
The parliament supported Morozova’s reappointment 80-1 in a secret ballot. She will stay in office for the next five years.*jk
