DPR provides food aid to 400 former captives of Nazi concentration camps

Donetsk, Apr 16 – DAN. Donetsk Republic social movement has delivered food supplies to nearly 400 residents of the Republic, the movement press service said.

“During the month, the members of the social movement visited more than 400 residents of the Republic within the framework of the events dedicated to the International Day of the liberation of Nazi concentration camps,” the movement said.

The DR said that the move aimed at commemorating the victims of Nazi camps.

International Day of liberation of the Nazi concentration camps is marked annually on 11 April. During the Second World War in Nazi Germany, its allies and countries in the occupied territories they acted. The date commemorates the liberation of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp. On 11 April 1945 prisoners stormed watchtowers and took control of the camp. *ot*pp
