Donetsk, Dec 5 – DAN. Russian libraries donated some 22,000 books to Donetsk People’s Republic peer institutions in a year, the DPR Culture Ministry press service told the Donetsk News Agency on Wednesday.
“Russian libraries passed 21,789 books to DPR libraries over a year,” the press service said.
The donated books which include fiction, textbooks and research literature replenished the stocks of Donetsk’s Krupskaya Republican Universal Scientific Library, Kirov Republican Children’s Library and Republican Youth Library.
The DPR has three republican libraries overall; all are located in Donetsk’s Voroshilovskiy district. The Republic’s key Krupskaya Library distributes new books among libraries across DPR districts including frontline areas.*jk
