Two civilians wounded as Kiev forces shell southern DPR – JCCC

Donetsk, Sep 26 – DAN. Two civilians were wounded in the Kominternovo village in the south of the Donetsk People’s Republic as Ukrainian forces shelled the area, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Wednesday.
“Today, at 13:25, Ukrainian forces delivered a strike at the Kominternovo settlement in the south of the Republic wounding two civilians,” Yakubov said.
A 60-year-old woman suffered shrapnel wounds to the leg and neck and a 61-year-old man was wounded in the stomach, the JCCC said. The victims were rushed to Novoazovsk’s Central Hospital.
Earlier reports on Wednesday said that Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 21 times over the past 24 hours firing 217 rounds of ammunition at DPR frontline areas.*jk
