Ukrainian army violates ceasefire 36 times over 24 hours, train depot outside Yasinovataya damaged

Donetsk, Aug 8 – DAN. Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 36 times over the past 24 hours; a train depot outside Yasinovataya was damaged in shelling, DPR Operations Command and local authorities reported on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 36 times using artillery, mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons, grenade launchers and small arms,” a DPR Operations Command representative said.

Overall 17 DPR frontline settlements came under enemy fire. No casualties were immediately reported.

Yasinovataya administration officials said a train depot was damaged in overnight shelling.

“Fire was delivered from Ukrainian positions at town outskirts at 3:10 a.m.; part of the wall and windows of Train Depo RPCh-12 sustained damage. There were no casualties,” an administration official said.

Ukrainian forces fired more than 360 artillery and mortar rounds at DPR frontline areas over the 24-hour period from Sunday to Monday.*jk
